Everyone does it to one degree or another and according to psychologist, Pat Pearson, there are five unique self sabotaging strategies that can be at work in your life.

Your self-sabotage strategies are based on your Deserve Level. Your Deserve Level is based on your Permissions. Learned early on in childhood – many were messages spoken by our parents and other authority figures, and others we learned by example, but regardless of their source, they became our benchmarks for what we deserve to experience in love.

Your deserve level unconsciously regulates your self esteem and your self confidence when it comes to love. It can be one vicious cycle that, untended, can be the biggest obstacle to you finding love you so crave.
