How to put the art of visioning to work in your life

I’m still on a high from my Monday night session with The Great Do-Over Power Posse – it’s my group of Great Do-Over grads who are mastering the art of manifesting.

We are still working our 2017 goals and dreaming big, while also getting very intentional with our actions.

It’s the art of visioning and it’s a balance act.

Dream big. Let go of how it’s going to happen, yet at the same time, take inspired action.

It sounds complicated, but it’s not. It’s the perfect blend of dreaming big and taking little steps every day and most of all… maintaining the mindset to receive. Here’s how…

First start with our “year from now” vision. It’s a free form brainstorm of what life will be like a year from now (much more fun and more effective than resolutions).

Then, break it down into actions – what needs to be done in order for … to happen?

For example, if you are in midlife looking to sell the big house now that the kids have gone and see yourself in your perfect cottage on the water by next year, what needs to happen?

You might need to purge the clutter and do some home repairs, contact a broker, and actually sell your house.

But what you might miss is the pre-step in all of that … THE VISION of where you are going!

Here was my dreamboard of my perfect house on the water when I was downsizing just over 3 years ago. I picked photos off the web and turned them into my vision of where I wanted to be.

It didn’t happen in a year, but within two years, I found myself in this great cottage close to the water in Sag Harbor village. It had more reds than blues, and the sailboat was on a sideboard rather than a dock out back, but it was the perfect spot for me.

visualization-with-imagery

Visualization with imagery carries such a powerful vibration that you can’t help but attract what you want to you…

No matter if that is the perfect place to live, the right relationship or a body that you love. If you can see it, you can live it.

So go ahead, give yourself 15-20 minutes to dream big. What are you doing? Traveling? Moving to your dream home? Falling in love? Getting in shape? Buying that piece of jewelry you had your eye on? Go ahead and search for images and download.

Use an application like picmonkey.com or canva.com to create your collage.

Print it out and keep it where you can see it everyday – above your desk, in your planner or on your fridge… give some energy into seeing yourself living that life.

Then, email me or comment below. Share your dream board with me and get ready to receive.

Love,
